Travelling is by far one of the best ways to gather knowledge and gain education. Since the inception of a modern human civilizations, humans have travelled far off distances to gather knowledge and educate themselves. Although the means of transport were very few in earlier times but in the thirst to gain education and experiencing new cultures, the humans have never detered from their path. With the advancement of transport systems, humans can now travel around the world and absorb the wealth of knowledge the world has to offer.

Travelling is not only a leisure activity but it also has profound impact on our general knowledge. Students around the world travel to different countries to gain higher education and this way they also learn about the culture, language, traditions, lifestyle, technology, human behavior to name a few. The universities around the world also has many articulation with partner universities or institutes to encourage many student exchange programmes to help students get exposure of the world and subsequently to help them to propel in their careers.

Gaining knowledge through travelling is not limited to only students but for any person irrespective of its age or profession. Professional people travel for attending workshops, seminars to enlighten themselves on various issues and educating them. 

On the whole, it can be said that there are plentiful of opportunities in travelling and one must make the best use of it, learning new things and sharing the wealth of knowledge in the host country.
