Communication is by far the most important aspect of a human being. We communicate by different means to express ourselves and to receive messages. It is an inseparable part of our lives and we are totally dependent on it to survive. Ways of communications have changed or in other ways improved tremendously over the past many years and there are both merits and demerits for the same, which I will elaborate in my following paragraphs.

If we rewind the clock 10 years back, then we would find that ways of communication were quite different from the present time as we used to have simple landline phones instead of mobile handsets, communication satellites were not very advanced, teaching methods were mostly classroom based etcetera. The major drawback with these kind of communication was that it was time consuming, not very informative etcetra.

The science has really taken a big leap in the last 10 years and the ways of communications has improved drastically. Simple landline phones have been transformed to highly sophisticated mobile phones which can be considered as a mini computer, as it consists of advanced technology softwares which have ultimately improved our communications. We can not only do the voice chat but also the video chat. Mobiles can be effectively connected to the internet and so communicating with any person in the world is easily possible just at a touch of button.

I want to conclude by saying that advantages of new technology in ways of communication are much more than the disadvantages but people can have varied views on this topic.
